Single room accommodation at a local villa in Tours, in the heart of the Loire Valley. Visit our Accommodation section.

Schedule for this Chateau Art holiday in France’s Loire Valley:
Day 1: Arrival day. Meeting at the accommodation in Tours. Time to freshen up at the house. Welcome with wine. Group dinner at a restaurant. Introduction to the painting holiday.
Day 2: In the morning, each guest will have individual time with the tutor to discuss artistic expectations and techniques. Lunch. The afternoon will be spent painting the fabulous French gardens of Villandry castle (below) . Dinner.
Day 3: Day spent resting and painting at villa. This will give everyone a good opportunity to finish off Villandry château painting(s). There will also be still-life subjects for those who wish to paint those. Group dinner at a restaurant.
Day 4: Day trip to the charming Azay Le Rideau castle (below). Lunch there, then we will spend the afternoon painting in its peaceful surroundings.
Day 5: Morning spent resting and painting at villa. There will be different options for this tuition-free afternoon. The first being an optional visit to château Chambord (below). The second option will be to visit Tours and do some shopping there. Guests wishing to stay and paint at the villa will be able to do so. Group dinner at a restaurant.
Day 6: Morning painting at the villa. Lunch. Afternoon painting at the villa. Dinner.
Day 7: Day trip to château de Chenonceau (below). This castle’s beauty is sure to thrill you as an artist. We will have lunch there, then will spend the afternoon painting it.
Day 8: Breakfast and departures. Goodbyes.
