Join our group of artists of all levels, perfect beginners included! Learn how to paint animal or human portraits (you can also choose to draw). This portraiture art holiday in France includes accommodation in Provence (less than an hour from Nice), all materials and equipment, classes at our private art studio in the midst of the Provence greenery surrounded by vineyards and pine forests, excursions, different meal options.
Learn portraiture on this art holiday with a qualified, kind and fun tutor (Marie Remond). You will also visit the French Riviera with wonderful outings in Nice and Saint Tropez, with a Provence wine tasting bonus!
One week of learning how to paint human or pet portraits at your own rate, making new friends, painting/drawing, and relaxing on this French art holiday taught in English. You will come away with one, two or more portraits you will have painted (or drawn) from your own photos or from an online source. The rate at which you paint (or draw) depends on you, there is no pressure or competition!
About the tutor: Marie Remond is a qualified artist (also Azenart owner) who has been running painting holidays since 2016 in Italy, France and Greece.
Accommodation on this portraiture painting holiday in the South of France is at a close-by residence with a swimming pool. Participants will have a single room + a private bathroom in one of our ground floor townhouses. We also offer the Ensuite bedroom on the premises of the villa, adjacent to the art studio. (You will be able to make your room choice on our booking form when booking).
What's included in our 2024 and 2025 portrait painting holiday in France?
Tutoring by a talented tutor in a small group.
Choice of mediums: Watercolours (recommended) or drawing. More advanced painters can choose acrylics, oils or pastels.
Art materials provided. Paints, paintbrushes/pencils, aprons, small accessories like tape etc.
Equipment is provided on this French Riviera/Provence art vacation. Board and stool. Easel.
Accommodation: SINGLE ROOM at a residence with a swimming pool in the Var, France, just a few minutes from the art studio, and less than an hour from both NICE and SAINT TROPEZ.
All meals (except on the free day).

Fabulous sightseeing excursions in Nice and Saint Tropez.
Local transportation to excursions
Group pick-up and drop off at Nice airport.
